Regional OTR Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan for the region to retain current and/or obtain new OTR business
  • Possess and utilize strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented skills
  • Prospect and qualify potential new OTR customers
  • Design and present proposals that align with customer needs and budget
  • Afford assistance with onboarding new clients and managing customer accounts
  • Manage and execute client account analysis, preparation, and communication of client proposals/quotes, additional reporting requirements, and/or special client projects
  • Afford support to the region Branch locations with any warehouse and service needs, as they arise
  • Lead in implementation of customer programs at region level
  • Facilitate communication with Branch Managers and OTR Branch staff

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience (commercial tire industry strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in the OTR industry
  • Proven track record of new account development and strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Leadership skills and the ability to analyze customer programs for profitability
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurable by company standards
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
