Role: Regional Nurse Educator responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for nursing staff focused on caring for adults with mental health, substance use, and chronic medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver comprehensive educational sessions, including orientation, recertification, and ongoing education.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and evidence-based practices.Monitor staff progress, document competencies, and maintain training records.Collaborate with community nursing programs for clinical practice development and student placements.Provide oversight of compliance and accreditation activities, including CPR and ERMA trainings. Qualifications and Skills: BSN or related healthcare degree from an accredited institution.1-2 years of psychiatric mental health nursing experience, with additional educator experience preferred.Current RN license in the state of employment.Excellent communication and organizational skills; experience in Performance Improvement is a plus. Key Duties: Facilitate training, ensure staff competency, support clinical development, and promote high-quality, compassionate patient care in a team environment.
