Overview

The ideal Clinical Reimbursement Specialist Candidate is very detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and enjoys supporting and training stakeholders. The ability to travel to assigned sites Monday–Friday is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with systems development and implementation of programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Quality Measures (QMs), Medicaid Casemix, and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for all Signature HealthCARE stakeholders.
• Assist with design and presentation of RAI, PPS, Quality Measures, Medicare, and Medicaid education using various media, technology, workshops, classes, and one-on-one sessions.
• Conduct facility site visits to orient new MDS Coordinators and to evaluate and reinforce RAI/MDS/PPS processes.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a long-term care setting.
• MDS experience in long-term care within the past two (2) years.
• Willing to travel eighty to ninety percent (80%–90%) with overnight stays.
