What You’ll Do

  • Provide regional support and oversight for the MDS process across assigned facilities
  • Train, coach, and onboard facility MDS/Clinical Care Coordinators
  • Review and monitor MDS scheduling, completion, and submission timelines
  • Support accurate care planning, care plan review, and documentation practices
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and reimbursement opportunities
  • Serve as an MDS/RAI resource for facility leadership and IDT teams
  • Support PDPM, CMI, QAPI, Triple Check, Managed Care updates, ADR reviews, and audit readiness
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local MDS requirements
  • Assist facilities remotely or onsite as needed, including interim MDS support when assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Strong knowledge of the MDS process and long-term care regulations
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
  • Preferred experience:
    • RAC-CT Certification
    • At least 1 year of RN experience in long-term care
    • At least 1 year of experience as an MDS Coordinator
    • Nursing management, regional support, or consulting experience
