What You’ll Do
- Provide regional support and oversight for the MDS process across assigned facilities
- Train, coach, and onboard facility MDS/Clinical Care Coordinators
- Review and monitor MDS scheduling, completion, and submission timelines
- Support accurate care planning, care plan review, and documentation practices
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and reimbursement opportunities
- Serve as an MDS/RAI resource for facility leadership and IDT teams
- Support PDPM, CMI, QAPI, Triple Check, Managed Care updates, ADR reviews, and audit readiness
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local MDS requirements
- Assist facilities remotely or onsite as needed, including interim MDS support when assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong knowledge of the MDS process and long-term care regulations
- Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
- Preferred experience:
- RAC-CT Certification
- At least 1 year of RN experience in long-term care
- At least 1 year of experience as an MDS Coordinator
- Nursing management, regional support, or consulting experience
