Regional Market Selector Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Oversight of key performance indicators for selectors in the region
- Implementation of individual and/or group training to address performance deficiencies
- Performance of selector site audits and conduct in-field follow-ups for suspected issues
- Communication of audit results to necessary parties
- Participation in monthly/quarterly marketing strategy discussions with leadership
- Assessment of hog body composition in finishing sites to project sales
- Identification and marking of hogs for movement or sale
- Delivery of load movement paperwork to farm sites
- Regular communication with leadership and production teams
- Delivery of data through written reports and email correspondence
- Counting of inventory and number of hogs scheduled for sale
- Aid other team members to meet department and company goals
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years swine production experience and/or training
- A clear and valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required

Schedule
The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
