Focused on strategically enhancing the profitability of the Heritage Family of Companies through collaboration with brand teams to identify, prioritize, and implement pricing strategies that optimize margins. This role delivers insights and tracks the impact of these initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership while leveraging advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate proactively with brand teams to identify, prioritize, and implement pricing strategies that enhance margins across the irrigation business segment, ensuring alignment with corporate profit objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive margin performance tracking systems, utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on margin enhancement initiatives, leveraging strong business acumen and industry expertise to influence decision-making and drive effective pricing strategies.
  • Lead the analysis of market trends and competitor pricing, utilizing data-driven insights to recommend strategic adjustments to optimize profitability and sustain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on margin metrics, facilitating transparent communication of performance results to key stakeholders, thereby driving informed business decisions.
  • Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement in margin management processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
  • Direct the evaluation and application of Agility software tools, where applicable, to streamline pricing operations and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of margin management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in pricing, margin management, or a similar role with a focus on profitability enhancement.
  • Previous experience in the Irrigation Supply Industry is preferred.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, complex formulas, and macro development.
  • Proficiency with the broader Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Agility software is a plus.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen with an ability to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience in generating insights and tracking financial impact related to margin improvements.
  • Exceptional influencing and advisory skills to serve as a trusted advisor on pricing strategies.
  • Ability to engage effectively with brand teams to execute margin-enhancing opportunities.
  • Capacity to maintain accountability for gross margin percentage improvements linked to net sales.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time, with the capability to work from a home office or a branch office located in the region.

  • Certification in Pricing Management or related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Data Analysis or Financial Analysis is advantageous.

Pay

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $88,200-$116,850 annually. Starting wage may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.

Benefits

Schedule

This role operates within a dynamic and adaptive work environment, offering both office-based and remote working arrangements. The position requires regular travel, approximately 20-30% of the time, typically 2-3 days every two weeks.

Travel Requirements
