Regional Manager of Licensing

Position Summary

The Corporate Regional Manager of Licensing will provide supervision and oversight of Licensing Supervisors and/or Licensing Staff in the assigned geographic regions of NYAP. The role will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all foster home licensing activities, ensuring timely licensure of diverse, high-quality foster homes within a 45 to 60 day timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Licensing Supervisor/Licensing staff in the assigned NYAP Region
• Coordinate and implement all foster home licensing activities
• Promote a positive public and internal image of NYAP
• Avoidance of non-compliance with state, NYAP, and COA regulations regarding foster parent licensure, certification, and recertification
• Develop and implement licensing protocols and processes to ensure timely licensure of diverse, high-quality foster homes
• Ensure all data relating to foster home licensing is entered into the Electronic Records System
• Prepare required data and reports regarding foster home licensing utilizing the Electronic Records System
• Participate in on-going supervision and team meetings
• Oversee statewide licensing and foster parent education data integrity, compliance, tracking, reporting, and process standardization
• Attend state and local meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in foster care/licensing
• Relevant supervisory experience required
• Approved Ohio Assessor strongly preferred
• A valid professional license if required by state or contract regulations
• Valid Driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, and software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
