Summary
The Regional Manager of Facilities and Environmental Services (AH) leads regional facility operations by overseeing maintenance, environmental services, capital projects, and regulatory compliance across multiple communities, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments that support resident well-being and operational performance.
Essential Functions
Lead facilities and environmental services operations across multiple communities, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained physical environments.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee capital projects and construction activities, including renovations, repairs, and replacements, ensuring completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Oversee contractor selection, procurement of materials, and project execution to ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and support annual capital expenditure budgets in collaboration with community leadership.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including building codes, life safety requirements, OSHA, EPA, and environmental standards.
Partner with Compliance and Ethics to evaluate and audit regulatory compliance and maintain readiness for inspections, surveys, and permitting requirements.
Develop and implement programs and procedures to support environmental safety, including asbestos management and other regulated processes.
Establish and maintain standards for maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping, security, laundry, and overall environmental services across communities.
Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize use of labor and materials.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal partners to support high-quality service delivery and operational consistency.
Oversee vendor contracts, procurement activities, and service agreements; maintain accurate records of contracts, work orders, and budgets.
Monitor supply chain and procurement processes to ensure consistency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational standards.
Collaborate with Property Supervisors, Administrators, Development, and other internal partners to support operations, capital planning, and project execution.
Provide guidance and support to community-level maintenance and environmental services team members to ensure consistent standards and effective operations.

Essential/Preferred Experience OR Equivalent Qualifications
Minimum Experience Details Essential: 7 years Progressive experience in facilities management, environmental services, construction, or property operations, including supervisory experience.
Preferred: 3 years Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations, preferably in affordable housing or multi-unit residential environments.
Essential/Preferred Education or Equivalent Qualifications
Type: Specialization Essential: High School Diploma/GED General Equivalent Experience instead of Education: None Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree Facilities Management, engineering, construction management, or related field Associate’s degree/Two years of college plus two years of related work experience, or four years of related work experience.
Essential/Preferred Credentials or Equivalent Qualifications
Type: Description Essential: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) Certified Facil Manager (CFM) or other relevant safety, environmental, or facilities-related certifications.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
Must be able to occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Must be able to constantly move to position oneself to maintain files in file cabinets or to perform essential job functions.
Must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer, to execute the job's essential functions.

Must occasionally ascend or descend stairs to provide essential services.
