Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate operational procedures and programs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee staffing and recruitment of medical personnel, ensure compliance with licensure and credentialing requirements, and maintain communication with facility administration, contracted providers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide leadership in maintaining compliance with company and facility policies and procedures, including Human Resource policies, and submit timely and accurate reports, invoices, and budgets.
• Serve as a liaison between the facility and corporate office, participate in business development activities, and attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on industry trends.
• Promote quality improvement standards by actively participating in audits, proactively identifying potential problems, and addressing inmate/family grievances and legal matters.
• Provide guidance to the executive management team in making informed business decisions.
• Ensure that medical, dental, and mental health programs in the region align with company and facility goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and accreditation standards (ACA, NCCHC, State).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field preferred.
• Experience: Five years of experience in the delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care preferred; three to five years of administrative, management, and supervisory experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
• This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.
