Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across a multi-site Houston/Austin portfolio, holding properties to Hilltop's standards for performance, resident experience, and culture
- Develop and support onsite teams, coaching Community Directors and leasing staff to grow in their roles and deliver consistently
- Drive financial performance across the portfolio through revenue maximization, disciplined expense management, and accurate reporting
- Implement and continuously improve site-level operating, maintenance, and cost control procedures in line with Hilltop standards
- Serve as the connection between the corporate team and the field, translating strategy into consistent execution at the property level
- Support Hilltop's continued growth and acquisition activity across both markets
Requirements
- Proven multi-site multifamily property management experience with a demonstrated track record of strong operational and financial results
- Comfort operating across multiple markets and a willingness to travel regularly between Houston and Austin as part of the regular flow of the role
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, variance analysis, revenue maximization, and accurate reporting
- A leadership approach that develops people, not just manages them
- Experience with property management software, preferably OneSite/RealPage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter mentality paired with a collaborative, humble approach to leadership
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Travel between Austin, TX and Houston, TX portfolio required
