This strategic position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Tigard, OR and oversees personnel within our branches throughout Oregon. Frequent travel throughout the region is required.
About the role
The Regional Manager is responsible for the sales strategy, budget, and achievement of financial and team development goals. This role monitors branch effectiveness, develops and facilitates programs and solutions, and actively participates in business development. The position serves as the key contact for customer, vendor, and manufacturer’s representative relationships within the region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales strategy and budget for the Oregon region.
- Achieve financial and team development goals.
- Monitor branch effectiveness and develop programs/solutions as needed.
- Actively participate in business development.
- Manage customer, vendor, and manufacturer’s representative relationships.
- Lead and develop high-performance teams in a high-accountability environment.
- Demonstrate strong financial management, including P&L, revenue growth, and loss prevention.
- Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5-7 years of successful multi-location management in a plumbing and/or water works wholesale distribution environment.
- Entrepreneurial business management orientation with strong sales planning and team-building skills.
- Proven effectiveness in managing teams and developing high-performance talent.
- Strong probing, communication, investigatory, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in sales, service, and operations.
- Experience with extensive customer contact and relationship-building.
- Advanced proficiency in Windows software (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and follow-up skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication across multiple platforms.
