About the role

As a Regional Manager, you will lead a team of branches, ensuring strong financial performance, operational excellence, and superior customer experience. You will be responsible for your regional team’s execution of achieving performance goals as outlined in the Retail Incentive Plan. The role provides strategic direction, coaching, and support to Branch Managers, fostering a high-performing team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of Branch Managers and retail banking professionals to achieve performance goals, sales targets, and professional development.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous learning where team members feel valued, empowered, and supported.
- Drive achievement of deposit, product, digital solution, and fee income goals across all branches.
- Build strong relationships with internal business partners and ensure branch teams do the same to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Ensure outstanding customer service delivery, implement customer feedback initiatives, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Leverage data insights to understand trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Maximize evolving technology to support decision-making and address customer needs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal business partners and adapt quickly to change.
- Translate corporate strategies into regional action plans.
- Analyze branch profitability, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial targets.
- Oversee compliance, risk management, and adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the Bank in local communities, fostering partnerships, promoting brand visibility, and supporting volunteerism.
- Embrace and lead by the Bank’s Core Values, adhering to high standards of ethics and personal behavior.
- Work on various projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in retail banking, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or regional management role.
- 10+ years of proven experience in sales, service, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple branches or teams, driving results, business growth, and making high-quality decisions.
- Excellent strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong coaching and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient conflict management and problem-solving skills to address customer complaints, operational challenges, and employee matters.
- Strong knowledge of bank policies, procedures, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
Pay
The reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $175,000, based on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
