We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily housing communities. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of assigned properties, while providing direction, support, and accountability to Property Managers and onsite teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced multifamily housing professional who understands how to balance property operations, financial performance, occupancy, compliance, maintenance, resident concerns, and team leadership across multiple locations. This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of two days per week in our Burbank corporate office, along with regular travel to properties within the assigned portfolio. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day oversight of properties and employees within your assigned portfolio.Directly supervise and support Property Managers, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and ongoing coaching.Hold structured weekly meetings with Property Managers to review occupancy, accounts receivable, resident matters, property operations, and outstanding action items.Conduct regular property visits and inspections to evaluate operations, staff performance, property conditions, vacancies, maintenance quality, and overall standards.Monitor occupancy, rent collections, delinquency, leasing activity, recertifications, unit turns, and work-order completion.Review property financial performance, including budgets, monthly financial statements, expense variances, purchase orders, invoices, and opportunities to increase revenue or reduce expenses.Assist with annual operating budgets, capital improvement planning, and expense variance analysis.Ensure properties meet applicable regulatory and compliance requirements and that required documentation and reporting are completed accurately and timely.Coordinate preparations for NSPIRE inspections, MORs, rehabilitation projects, and construction-related activities.Work closely with Compliance, Asset Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Legal, and other corporate departments to address property and personnel matters.Manage and evaluate vendors and contractors and ensure appropriate contracts and insurance requirements are maintained.Identify operational issues quickly, develop corrective action plans, and ensure follow-through.Help ensure every property provides a safe, well-maintained, and high-quality living environment for its residents. What We're Looking For 5+ years of property management experienceExperience overseeing multiple properties and managing teamsAffordable Housing, Project-Based Section 8, and LIHTC experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of Fair Housing requirementsStrong understanding of multifamily property operations, financial performance, maintenance, leasing, and resident relationsExcellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining strong communication and accountabilityProficiency with Microsoft Office and general property management technologyYardi Voyager, RentCafe, and RightSource experience strongly preferredValid driver's license and required automobile insuranceAbility to travel approximately 30-50%Spanish bilingual skills are a plus These qualifications track the experience, technology, Fair Housing, travel, and leadership requirements in the job description. Compensation Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000, based on experience and qualifications.
