About the role
This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and position yourself for great personal and career growth. You will report to and work directly with the Co-Founders and Operations Manager and be trained for future promotion opportunities. As the first lead role in Ellensburg, you'll have autonomy and the chance to shape your career path—whether in general Office/Operations Management, marketing, or another area that fits your skills. The role blends the excitement of a startup with the financial stability of an established firm.
You must subscribe to the concept of servant leadership, starting with hands-on caregiving before transitioning into recruitment and eventually marketing/sales. This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset, ideally with at least 5 years of experience as a Care Professional (CNA or HCA).
Responsibilities
- Caregiver duties:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as moving in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations.
- Build relationships with patients through conversation or reading aloud to support mental health.
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
- Act as a backup Caregiver.
- Recruitment duties:
- Identify the best sources for Care Professional recruitment.
- Conduct interviews and orientations.
- Retain great Care Professionals.
- Marketing/Sales duties:
- Attend local networking events and establish yourself as a trusted industry member.
- Attain referrals from area hospitals, clinics, and other sources.
- Increase the number of service hours weekly.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide or CNA program.
- Five years of professional caregiving experience.
- Driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable car.
- Adult CPR & First Aid certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to take on caregiving shifts initially.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and servant leadership mentality.
