About the role

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and position yourself for great personal and career growth. You will report to and work directly with the Co-Founders and Operations Manager and be trained for future promotion opportunities. You must be a self-starter with a growth mindset, subscribing to the concept of servant leadership. Initially, you will take on caregiving shifts while helping build Agape’s presence in Wenatchee into a thriving operation. As the first lead role in the city, you’ll have autonomy and the chance to shape your career path—whether in general Office/Operations Management, marketing, or another area that fits your skillset.

Once a strong team of Care Professionals is established through your recruitment efforts, you’ll transition into growing the customer base through marketing and sales. This role combines the excitement of a startup with the financial stability of an established firm.

Responsibilities

  • Start with Caregiver duties:
    • Assist clients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
    • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
    • Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
    • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
    • Engage patients in exercises or other activities
    • Act as a backup Caregiver
  • Move into recruitment duties:
    • Identify the best sources for Care Professional recruitment
    • Conduct interviews and orientations
    • Retain great Care Professionals
  • Finish with marketing/sales duties:
    • Attend local networking events
    • Establish yourself as a trusted industry member
    • Attain referrals from area hospitals, clinics, and other sources
    • Increase the number of service hours weekly

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide or CNA program
  • Five years of professional Caregiving experience
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Reliable car
  • Adult CPR & First Aid certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to take on caregiving shifts initially
