About the role
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experienced in Skilled Nursing Facilities to join our team as a Regional Lead. This role combines clinical practice, regional oversight, and business development, responsible for ensuring clinical excellence and growth.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Primary clinical point of contact for all Providers in your region
- Provide clinical training to ensure all Providers display excellent clinical decision making and bedside manner
- Time shadow each Provider in the region
- Conduct regular clinical and facility meetings with facility staff
- Conduct focused assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery
- Provide targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management based on patient-specific needs
- Support physiatrists on-site and operate with a high level of autonomy
- Coordinate care and refer to other specialties or services for issues beyond the scope of physiatry
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- DEA licensed or willing to obtain DEA licensure
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience
- Physiatry, Pain Management or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation experience
- Comfort in performing ultrasound guided peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips)
- A genuine passion for providing professional, personalized care in an autonomous environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
