About the role

The In-N-Out Burger Human Resources team is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) for their Irvine, CA office. This full-time position is based in office hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build an HR Dream Team: Lead, coach, and level up HR Business Partners to ensure they are confident, capable, and ready to handle various Associate situations.
  • Be the Calm in the Storm: Navigate complex Associate relations issues with fairness and compliance, guiding fair and thoughtful outcomes.
  • Partner Like a Pro: Connect people strategy to business results by ensuring HR practices and decisions are fair and consistent across operations and corporate departments.
  • Coach the Coaches: Provide real-time feedback, performance conversations, and development plans to support leader success.
  • Own Big Moments: Lead key HR initiatives and changes, such as engagement surveys and compliance rollouts, ensuring successful implementation across the business.
  • Turn Data into Decisions: Analyze turnover and engagement data, connect insights to action plans, and improve the Associate experience.
  • Stay One Step Ahead: Interpret policies, navigate legal and ethical considerations, and proactively address potential issues.

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience (required).
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (required).
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (required).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Benefits

  • Salary Pay Range: $135,000 - $170,000 + bonus.

Schedule

Full-time position, Exempt. Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Department needs may require occasional overtime.

Work Location Details

In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its West Coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. The company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and headquarter the western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948. Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from the western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
