About the role

YAGEO Group is seeking a Regional Head of Logistics for the Americas Region. This onsite position reports to the Head of Global Logistics and oversees three direct reports. The primary goal is to ensure efficient, cost-effective management of the logistics network across the Americas at a corporate level, guaranteeing timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient, cost-effective management of the logistics network in the Americas and timely delivery of goods.
  • Negotiate, define, manage, and review regional contracts and agreements.
  • Control KPIs and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for all related regional business, including all finished goods (FG) lanes originating in the Americas, all raw material (RM) lanes with destination Americas, and logistics platforms in Dallas, Brownsville, Guadalajara, Louisville, Monterrey (MX), and São Paulo (BR).
  • Manage shipment schedules for RM and FG to/from Americas YAGEO plants and hubs, including related IT development (tracking system, PO management, etc.).
  • Oversee outsourced YAGEO distribution hubs.
  • Lead savings projects and special projects not strictly related to the Americas.
  • Maintain compliance with Worldwide Export Compliance System, CTPAT, and ITAR controls.
  • Maintain logistics tables in logistics systems.
  • Control inventory at YAGEO hubs.
  • Manage cost budgeting, control, and allocation.
  • Prepare periodical reporting.

Requirements

  • Technical bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
  • 5 years of related experience in Supply Chain/Logistics.
  • Basic knowledge of import-export, especially MX/US border crossing operations, cost control, and export compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of English; Spanish is optional.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems independently and make results-driven decisions.
