Regional General Manager

Henry Schein is seeking a dynamic Regional General Manager to lead sales growth and operational excellence across an assigned geography. This is a senior leadership role for a proven dental industry leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, people leadership, and customer impact This role leads field sales teams across San Francisco and the Bay Area. Candidates must reside in Northern California. About the Role This position is responsible for leading sales growth and operational excellence in their assigned geographic region, managing a territory valued at roughly $100M. This position combines leadership, sales management, and business development to drive market share, profitability, and operational efficiency. The role will oversee all field sales activities while collaborating with field operations to impact the assigned geography. This role will focus on growing sales in key markets while meeting corporate strategic objectives. The position is responsible for fostering a collaborative culture, ensuring customer-centricity, and driving sales through proactive leadership and relationship management. ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop sales teams, including Field Sales Consultants, and Equipment SpecialistsPartner with senior leadership to execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned to company goalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and key stakeholdersLead recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development in partnership with corporate trainingServe as a key liaison between corporate leadership and regional teamsSupport national and regional marketing programs and operational initiativesParticipate in key corporate projects, conventions, customer events, and leadership meetings Qualifications10+ years of experience in the dental industry, including dental distribution3+ years of people management experience leading sales and/or operation teams Required SkillsStrong business and financial acumen with P&L ownership experienceAbility to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsExperience working with NDSOs, CHCs, and private practicesStrategic thinker with strong operational, project management, and execution skillsComfortable influencing across functions and leading both in-person and virtual teams Preferred Skills Travel up to 50% to support regional teams, attend meetings, and engage with customers and stakeholders Pay range and compensation package The posted range for this position is $113,962-$178,067which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
