Regional Fleet Service Manager

About the role

As a Regional Fleet Service Manager with Fleet Mobile Maintenance, you must be able to work independently in the field as well as collaborate with the fleet team, often with minimal supervision. Previous experience or working knowledge of Class 8 diesel systems and medium- to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Mobile Technicians within the assigned region, with some regional travel required.
• Ensure daily operations are safe, efficient, and productive.
• Communicate regularly with technicians and management to support field operations.
• When not in the field assisting technicians, focus on sales efforts, including prospecting new accounts and supporting business growth.
• Work directly with customers to resolve urgent service needs and maintain strong relationships.
• Stay organized, act with urgency, and continuously look for ways to improve processes.
• Use computers, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Perform other duties as needed to support operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a management or leadership role.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in sales.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical experience and knowledge of Class 8 Tractor-Trailers.
• At least 21 years of age.
• 50% travel within designated region.

Pay

USD $100,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 per year.

Schedule

Standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required, including availability after hours, on-call support, and occasional extended hours related to travel or field needs to ensure technician safety and operational support.
