Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager (TX)

Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager role based in Texas, overseeing a preventative maintenance repair program for heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, and other equipment. This is a remote-based position managing multiple sites with regular travel required. Candidates must reside in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Operations Manager to ensure operations and company needs are met.
• Lead, educate, and develop Fleet Managers.
• Monitor employee performance and maintain accessibility across all shop areas.
• Provide support to the operations team on all equipment-related issues.
• Monitor and analyze opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies.
• Perform administrative functions, including payroll approval, scanner downloads, repair order maintenance, and compliance documentation.
• Address all corrective actions regarding direct reports.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in fleet maintenance management or operations within the auto/diesel industry.
• 10+ years of managerial experience in the automotive or diesel industry.
• Experience expanding business in a fleet environment.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience required.
• Familiarity with light-heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills for documentation and peer/supervisor interactions.
• Thorough knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, and company policies.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Pay

Salary range: $110,000–$125,000 plus an annual performance-based bonus. Paid weekly, every Friday.
