Job Summary
The External Engagement team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland seeks a Regional Executive to lead stakeholder engagement in central Ohio. Reporting to the Vice President for Regional Executives, this role involves building strategic partnerships and gathering economic intelligence.
Essential Accountabilities
Strategic Partnership Management (50%): Develop relationships with a broad network of stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and develop long-term engagement roadmaps. Coordinate and leverage the Bank's expertise to deliver value to strategic partners. Represent the Bank at regional events and support Bank leadership with economic insights.
Market Intelligence Gathering and FOMC Briefing Support (30%): Work with the Research Department and Regional Analysis Group to gather intelligence, participate in FOMC briefings, and recruit contacts for surveys. Translate real-time insights into actionable intelligence for monetary policy decision-making.
Engagement Strategy and Cross-Functional Coordination (20%): Implement Bank-wide engagement strategies, provide strategic counsel, and define stakeholder segmentation frameworks. Coordinate with External Communications and support annual and quarterly business planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in economics or a related field preferred
8+ years of progressive experience in economic development, corporate partnerships, business development, or strategic relationship management
Strong business acumen, established network within the Fourth District, experience with economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, and industry associations
Proven track record of building and maintaining C-suite relationships, coordinating across multiple teams, and translating relationship insights into actionable recommendations
Exceptional communication skills, willingness to travel, valid driver's license, and access to reliable personal transportation

Physical Demands and General Working Conditions
This position requires occasional travel throughout the Fourth District (approximately 30-40%). Employees must comply with the Bank's ethics rules and undergo a background check and drug testing as a condition of employment.
