Regional Environment Manager - U.S. South

Regional Environment Manager based in the US South region (Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, or South Carolina).

About the role

Leads and supports environmental compliance across operations in the US South region, ensuring all sites meet regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in environmental performance. Provides strategic guidance and hands-on support to evaluate, develop, implement, and manage environmental programs and systems, resolves issues, and promotes best practices across the region.

Responsibilities

• Act as the environmental subject matter expert supporting US Southeast operations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (air, water, waste, and SARA)
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify risks and drive continuous improvement
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Management, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permitting and reporting
• Willingness and ability to regularly travel across the US South region
