Regional Education Manager

Steelcase is hiring a Regional Education Manager in the Dallas area, covering north Texas (including Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa) and Arkansas markets. This role focuses on growing education vertical sales in K-12 and Higher Education segments by collaborating with Steelcase dealers, customers, and the architecture & design community.

About the Role

• Pursue and grow sales in the education vertical by engaging with dealers, customers, and the A&D community.
• Stay current on education trends and apply Steelcase’s research, insights, and solutions to help customers solve problems.
• Develop deep business relationships with education customers and key influencers to secure product specifications and close sales.
• Cover an assigned geographic region, working closely with Steelcase dealers and managing complex, long-term sales cycles.
• Act as a subject-matter expert (design, technical, and learning products) and mentor others to execute market/account plans.
• Based in the greater Dallas area with hybrid work flexibility (dealer showrooms, Steelcase work centers, or customer meetings).

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales experience selling to K-12 and higher education.
• Experience designing education spaces.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• SalesForce experience and ability to create/execute sales strategies.
• Ability to navigate decision-makers and stakeholders within education accounts.
• Proven track record of solving complex business challenges and evaluating markets.
• Ability to work in a matrix sales organization with strong leadership and time-management skills.
