About the role

Curo Pet Care is seeking a seasoned operator from the veterinary, medical, or broader service industry to join our team as Regional Director of Operations for the San Francisco Bay Area. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of our established hospitals, as well as support for opening and growing new, state-of-the-art multi-doctor facilities in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering hand-in-hand with the ownership team to develop and execute regional:

    • Strategic planning
    • Marketing
    • Financial management
    • Vendor relationships

  • Day-to-day operational oversight of practice level managers:

    • HR, team development, and performance management
    • Bookkeeping and financial reporting
    • OSHA compliance and operational protocols
    • Inventory systems and controls

  • Development and implementation of non-medical protocols, best practices and staff training

  • Coordination and support of new, state of the art multi-doctor practices in the region

Requirements

  • You are a high-performing, multi-site operator with 7+ years of experience in veterinary, healthcare, or consumer services.

  • You’ve led teams, managed P&Ls, and built strong systems across HR, finance, marketing, and operations.

  • You thrive in high-autonomy environments and are motivated by the opportunity to help shape a region.

  • A CVPM or similar credential is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Seasoned operator with 7+ years of experience in veterinary, healthcare, or consumer services.

  • Experience in leading teams, managing P&Ls, and building strong systems across HR, finance, marketing, and operations.

  • High autonomy environment experience and motivation to shape a region.

  • CVPM or similar credential (optional).
