Regional Director of Sales
About the role
We are seeking a talented Regional Director of Sales for the Great Lakes region. This role involves serving as the primary sales and marketing department head, overseeing daily sales activity, and supporting the local engineering and architectural community.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary sales and marketing department head as set out in the business plan.
- Oversee daily sales activity as spelled out in the business plan.
- Serve as a member of the management team and support other members as needed.
- Ensure integrated efforts and provide feedback and direction to staff regarding strategic planning, goals, and objectives for overall Company performance, individual performance, employee retention, and acquisition.
- Oversee the sales and marketing budget, facilitate planning, develop long-range plans for the department and participate in management team meetings, administrating and distributing timely sales reports as required.
- Communicate sales and marketing issues to other members of the management team.
- Complete appropriate section of the Company’s strategic plan detailing objectives and goals, and tactics for how to achieve goals for department activities.
- Create a procedure for submitting high-quality proposals to prospective customers.
- Oversee and evaluate the administrative, clerical, and sales staff designated to perform sales and marketing functions.
- Support the local engineering and architectural community by providing customer needs analysis, system layouts, and designs.
- Track and provide accurate sales information to Company management through CRM.
- Attend job-related training, as offered by the Company as well as self-driven learning efforts.
- Mentor, train, and share knowledge with others, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements For Success
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
- Leadership experience managing and directing the work of others.
- Proven track record of achieving YTD revenue goals, growth, and proven performance leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of customer relations, marketing, communications, contractor issues, labor relations, project management issues, and job costing.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Able to exercise the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Demonstrated motivational and leadership skills.
- Professional self-starter who is reliable, flexible, proactive, resilient, organized, and punctual.
- Computer skills to include understanding basic computer manipulation, managing computer files, word processing, using spreadsheets and databases, creating presentations, finding information, and communicating.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively express ideas and information.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
- A high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Basic math computation skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.
- Ability to follow policies, processes and procedures.
- Effective use of Microsoft 365 suite of products.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to task in completing assignments with quality outputs.
- Maintain a clean driving record.

Pay
The expected salary for this position ranges from $82,200.00 to $155,200.00 base pay per year in addition to bonus potential.

This role requires a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in-office, and 2 days a week remote.
