Regional Director of Operations - NC based

The Regional Director of Operations supports, leads, and directs the communities to operational and financial success, ensuring resident satisfaction, quality care, occupancy, and revenue goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization’s operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies of TerraBella Senior Living.
• Communicate a clear, resident‑focused vision to communities.
• Review the annual resident satisfaction survey and develop programs to increase resident satisfaction.
• Manage the Executive Director of each community, holding them accountable for community‑specific and organization‑wide goals.
• Develop plans with each Executive Director to meet NOI expectations.
• Ensure budgeted revenue is achieved or exceeded by maximizing occupancy.
• Develop and execute plans to increase occupancy.
• Review monthly financial statements and implement action plans with Executive Directors for any deficiencies.
• Manage the Regional Director of Resident Care, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines and standards of care.
• Maintain strong knowledge of competition.
• Maintain a visible presence in the communities, typically spending four days per week on‑site and the remainder working from the corporate office.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and separations of Community Leaders in accordance with policy.
• Provide oversight of Community Executive Directors, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with financial goals established in the approved operating budget for the region.
• Oversee and direct Directors of Resident Care.
• Delegate authority, responsibility, and accountability to appropriate leaders.
• Lead the regional team in support of the organization’s mission and values.
• Demonstrate teamwork, take ownership of responsibilities, and proactively anticipate the needs of residents and team members.
• Promote development of team‑management skills and share best practices through participation and leadership within the region.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior‑living leadership role that includes sales/operations responsibilities.
