Regional Director of Nursing Services

Responsibilities

• Aid in managing urgent high-risk events
• Support Nursing Center leadership in addressing regulatory issues
• Prepare for surveys or other regulatory tasks as needed
• Conduct group clinical training sessions
• Assist in implementing new clinical trainings or programs
• Provide resources for training when new clinical complexities arise
• Support the Nursing Center with education on resource allocation
• Participate in the development and implementation of new company initiatives
• Revise clinical systems as necessary due to changes in regulations or standards
• Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations and VP of Clinical Services to ensure quality and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Maintain a current RN license in the state of consultation
• At least three (3) years of clinical leadership experience in a long-term care setting
• Preferred multi-facility consultation or management experience
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Qualifications

• Understanding of clinical issues related to patient liability and risk management
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Working knowledge of computer technology and clinical software systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good working knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process
• Confidentiality and professional behavior required

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000
