Regional Director of Nursing DON

We are currently searching for a Mobile Director of Nursing to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Legacy Healthcare. Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Legacy Healthcare by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture.
- Set and attain Nursing Department goals.
- Inspire your clinical team.
- Creative problem solving and oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department.
- Act as the acting Director of Nursing, covering various roles such as DON, ADON, and MDS duties as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum Associate's Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Science, Nursing or related field.
- An unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
- 5 years of R.N. experience.
- Previous experience managing a department.
- Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Schedule
This position would be a PRN - as needed role based on the needs of the company.
