Regional Director of Event Fundraising - Western North Carolina

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and training of volunteers
• Managing volunteer efforts in support of Ducks Unlimited fundraising events
• Fostering growth within the region with emphasis on new chapter development; internal growth within existing committees; identification and development of non-traditional fundraising opportunities and major donor identification and management
• Coordination and collaboration with the Florida fundraising team and volunteers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
• Volunteer experience with non-profit organizations will benefit candidates
• Volunteer experience with Ducks Unlimited is desired
• Aptitude for building and managing relationships with a diverse group of volunteers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency on a personal computer with basic skills in MS Office applications and working familiarity with the Internet
• Ability to develop computer skills specific to Ducks Unlimited Inc.’s standardized information systems
• Self-motivated and eager to accept challenging goals
• Willingness to work hours that extend well outside of the typical workday and workweek throughout the year, including extensive auto travel throughout the region
