Job Description Oppenheimer Asset Management (OAM), a division of Oppenheimer, is seeking a Regional Director to join its Sales Team. In this role, you will partner with Oppenheimer Financial Advisors throughout the Northeast region to drive adoption of OAM investment solutions, deepen advisor engagement, and support business development efforts through education, sales consulting, and relationship management. The Regional Director will be responsible for developing and growing advisor relationships across the Northeast region, driving adoption of OAM investment solutions, supporting asset gathering initiatives, and executing regional business development strategies. The role requires a consultative sales approach, deep investment knowledge, and the ability to partner effectively with Financial Advisors to achieve growth objectives. This position is based in New York City and requires travel throughout the Northeast region. Responsibilities Partner with Oppenheimer Financial Advisors to identify client opportunities and drive adoption of OAM investment solutions through presentations, portfolio reviews, and business development initiatives.Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on advisor engagement, asset growth, net asset flows, and achievement of regional sales objectives.Maintain accountability for regional sales activity, advisor engagement, asset growth, and achievement of territory business development goals.Educate and train Financial Advisors on the suite of investment products and solutions available through the OAM platform while driving advisor utilization of OAM offerings.Serve as a subject matter expert on OAM's investment platform, including separately managed accounts (SMAs), alternative investments, model portfolios, and third-party investment solutions.Build and strengthen relationships with Financial Advisors, OAM colleagues, and third-party investment managers through regular engagement and collaboration.Monitor financial markets and industry developments to provide timely market insights and investment-related guidance to Financial Advisors.Travel throughout the Northeast region to conduct advisor meetings, client presentations, training sessions, and business development activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.7+ years of sales, business development, or relationship management experience within asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, or an investment manager platform.Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 Registrations required; Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar industry designation preferred.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, asset gathering, and business development objectives.Strong knowledge of financial markets, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, separately managed accounts (SMAs), model portfolios, and wrap-fee investment programs.Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship management, and consultative sales skills, with the ability to effectively lead advisor and client-facing meetings.Ability to travel approximately 25% to 50% throughout the assigned territory. Compensation For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
