Regional Director Finance - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Manage the Financial and Casino accounting functions
• Prepare and distribute accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each property
• Prepare and review corporate accounting reporting packages
• Maintain accurate and updated financial records
• Oversee treasury responsibilities, including reviewing and approving all wire/ACH payments
• Conduct departmental P&L reviews
• Prepare the annual budget
• Prepare reforecasts and longer-term forecasts, as needed
• Perform financial analysis, as warranted
• Ensure proper federal and state tax reporting and withholdings and related filings
• Ensure proper capital expenditure approval and manage cost tracking and reporting and disposition of assets
• Report to Rhode Island Lottery on capital expenditures
• Interact with IT to ensure financial systems operate efficiently
• Implement best practices to streamline and automate accounting processes
• Lead an organization with ethical and compliant practices
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks
• Create a compliance culture within the organization
• Foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct
• Manage flow of information to/from the Rhode Island Lottery
• Handle internal and external audit requests
