Compass Pathways plc (Nasdaq: CMPS) is a biotechnology company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health. Headquartered in London, UK, with offices in New York City, we focus on developing novel treatments that have the potential to improve the lives of those suffering with mental health conditions who are not helped by current treatments. We are pioneering a new paradigm for treating mental health conditions focused on rapid and durable responses through our investigational COMP360 synthetic psilocybin treatment, a potential first-in-class therapy. COMP360 has Breakthrough Therapy designation from the FDA and Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway (ILAP) designation in the UK for treatment-resistant depression (TRD). We are currently in phase 3 for TRD, have completed phase 2 studies for PTSD and anorexia nervosa, and are planning further late-stage studies in PTSD.

About the role

This role requires strong collaboration across Patient Engagement, Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accurate, appropriate, and compliant access education and resources. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, motivated by navigating complex systems, and committed to improving mental health outcomes.

  • Support sites in preparing for patient onboarding and early treatment delivery within defined role boundaries.

  • Champion the use of approved tools and resources to ensure accurate and compliant field execution.
  • Surface aggregated insights on payer trends, access challenges, and emerging barriers to inform cross-functional strategy.
  • Collaborate across teams (Patient Engagement, Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Compliance) to ensure aligned, compliant execution.
  • Act as a connector across teams, bringing forward field insights to improve tools, training, and the overall patient and provider experience.
  • Maintain clear role boundaries and ensure all activities remain grounded in a non-promotional patient services model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in field reimbursement or patient access within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry; experience in mental health or neuroscience is highly preferred.
  • Experience building and leading regional field access teams with a deep understanding of:
