About the Role
Our client, a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, is seeking a Regional Director Patient Access Field (neurology-East). This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Field Access Managers (FAMs) to ensure patient access to therapies
- Develop regional strategies to tackle patient access challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align access strategies and resolve barriers
- Coach and mentor FAMs to enhance educational support provided to healthcare providers and patients
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention to maintain a diverse, high-performing team
- Monitor team performance and implement development plans for improvement
- Drive resolutions for complex access challenges while maintaining focus on patient needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare with 4-7 years in biotech/specialty required
- 3+ years in access management roles or direct people management experience required
- In-depth expertise in US healthcare systems and payer landscapes required
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of specialty product access pathways and reimbursement practices
