As a Regional Director of Operations (RDO) at Reliant Rehabilitation, you will lead clinical rehabilitation operations across multiple practices within a geographic market, ensuring high-quality patient care and achieving financial, employee relations, and customer service objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical rehabilitation operations for multiple practices within a geographic market, ensuring financial, employee relations, customer service, and clinical objectives are met.
• Schedule and deploy clinical staff to meet facility program needs, including patient care and skills development.
• Ensure compliance with Reliant Rehabilitation and customer policies, procedures, and patient care standards.
• Manage staffing objectives, including recruitment, training, and retention within the assigned geographic area.
• Serve as a clinical resource by therapy type and conduct routine clinical/compliance audits.
• Oversee efficient caseload management, including resident screening, patient assignment, and review of treatment outcomes.
• Analyze facility case mix and contribution margin to meet financial objectives.
• Communicate with facility staff and referral sources to gather clinical information on new or potential admissions.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans for deficiencies identified in audits or compliance investigations.
• Manage new facility start-ups and labor costs within the geographic area.
• Resolve day-to-day customer issues and develop corrective plans for identified risks.
• Implement a documentation peer review system within assigned facilities.
• Monitor and achieve employee retention objectives.
• Travel up to 75% of the time, including weekends and holidays, to travel between facilities during scheduled hours.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience, including at least three years in patient care and one to two years of successful clinical management.
• Valid credentials meeting state regulatory board requirements to practice in the assigned state.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic internet navigation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of others in multiple facilities, including training, scheduling, coaching, resolving issues, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with discipline and terminations.
