Regional Data Center Electrical Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within the data center facility. This includes but is not limited to power distribution, cooling infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for data center operations
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex electrical issues
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data center electrical engineering
• Experience with electrical system design and implementation
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data center electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools
• Experience with data center infrastructure management systems
• Understanding of data center cooling systems and their integration with electrical systems
