Regional Controller-FTS

About the role

Aquatech is seeking a full-time Regional Controller to join our Canonsburg, PA office. This position is exempt and requires on-site work. The ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting experience and familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, following GAAP standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and manage costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgeted/forecasted financial outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and cost controls in the manufacturing process.
• Identify and communicate financial trends, metrics, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage all aspects of the organization’s accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Cook with all aspects of the organization’s accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with overall organization policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA, or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a financial management or controller role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong working knowledge and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
