Regional Compliance Coordinator (TX Region / Remote)
Responsibilities
- Review initial, interim and annual recertification files.
- File reviews must be accurate and the volume of files reviewed per day must meet company standards.
- Provide written review of files that provides clear instructions to site staff for completing corrections so that files can be approved in a timely manner.
- Avoid entering incorrect or inaccurate information into the Property Management Software.
- Ensure all information is accurate and entered in the Property Management Software.
- Comply with company policies regarding the proper treatment of applicant and residents' personal/private information and maintaining such records in accordance with local, state and/or federal law.
- Ensure that files comply with the regulations of all funding/regulatory agencies, such as HUD and IRS.
- Perform special assignments as necessary.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant property management experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in compliance with file reviews.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Project Based Section 8 program experience.
- A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- 25% travel required throughout assigned region.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications
- COS certification.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $33.70-$42.13 per hour. The final pay rate will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Schedule
This is a remote work position. The ideal candidate must reside in Texas. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM CST.
