About the role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Regional Coach for their National Branch Growth & Enablement team within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role will improve branch network performance through the delivery of scalable workshops and targeted coaching for new District Managers.

Deliver Workshops

  • Coordinate logistics and facilitate pre-developed workshop content in person and virtually, focusing on the Behavior Framework, Management Cycle, affluent and small business activities, and other priority topics.
  • Support skill, knowledge, and execution of the Behavior Framework, Management Cycle, affluent and small business activities, and partner referrals.
  • Identify opportunities and align with Regional Executives and District Managers, leveraging workshop and branch observations and feedback to implement simple actions to boost success.

Coach Select District Managers

  • Conduct branch visits to coach the Behavior Framework, Management Cycle, and affluent activities with select District Managers.
  • Guide effective prioritization and skill execution without direct authority, explaining the "why," demonstrating, and coaching behaviors.

Support Branch Leaders

  • Support District Managers in facilitating District Manager-led Branch Manager meetings.
  • Provide guidance for Regional Executives and District Managers during performance evaluations of Branch Managers and other bankers.
  • Engage in customer and employee-facing pilots and rollouts, collect feedback, and evaluate effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of how the bank branches operate.
  • Expert knowledge of the Behavior Framework, Management Cycle, and affluent activities, and how each drives improved customer experience and business growth.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence across multiple levels - driving behavior change, supporting large-scale training initiatives, and guiding effective prioritization and skill execution without direct authority.
  • Proven written, verbal, and presentation skills, including dynamic and engaging workshop facilitation to build employee knowledge and skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel approximately 50-75% of the time.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Travel Requirements

This role requires frequent regional travel to support workshop and branch locations across the assigned region. Travel will include multiple cities and surrounding branch locations and may vary based on business needs. Candidates must have flexibility to travel throughout the region as required. Locations include but are not limited to: Southland Valley Central Coast (California).

Pay Range

$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
