Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management and oversight of the daily clinical operations in a service line in one or more practice locations.
  • Includes clinical leadership, clinical operations, patient and employee safety and satisfaction, quality care, fiscal management and personnel management.
  • Partners and co-creates a dynamic and collaborative relationship and partnership with members of the triad - Chiefs of Service Line and Operations leaders and/or local administration leaders in service to exemplary patient care.
  • Ensures the continuity and advancement of systems, care model critical success factors and service standards.
  • Supervises RNs and LPNs and ensures they are practicing in accordance with legal parameters, guidelines, and standards for clinical care.
  • Serves as a clinical nursing resource and clinical operations partner in the areas of quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety and professional development for their designated sites/service areas.
  • Addresses patient and staff issues in collaboration with operational partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current License as an RN in the State of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • 3+ years of demonstrated clinical experience and skill in relevant nursing area
  • 1+ years of leadership/charge nurse experience in a clinical or clinical education setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in practice specialty or leadership preferred with an expectation to sit for certification within 4 years of hire
  • 3+ years of leadership/charge nurse experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience in telephone nursing practice within an ambulatory practice setting
  • Management/leadership experience in a nursing collective bargaining environment

Skills

  • Working knowledge of organizational systems and operations preferred
  • Must be able to act cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Requires solid interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Must have demonstrated commitment to the principals of collaboration and teamwork

Pay and Benefits

The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
