Position Details

Location: 230 Worcester Street Wellesley, MA 02481
Department: Internal Medicine/ Pediatric Department
Schedule: 40HRS Weekly M-F

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for the management and oversight of the daily clinical operations in a service line in one or more practice locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to clinical leadership, clinical operations, patient and employee safety and satisfaction, quality care, fiscal management and personnel management. Partners and co-creates a dynamic and collaborative relationship and partnership with members of the triad - Chiefs of Service Line and Operations leaders and/or local administration leaders in service to exemplary patient care. Ensures the continuity and advancement of systems, care model critical success factors and service standards.

Supervises RNs and LPNs and assures that they are practicing in accordance with legal parameters, guidelines, and standards for clinical care. Ensures strict adherence to collective bargaining contracts across sites. Serves as a clinical nursing resource and clinical operations partner in the areas of quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety and professional development for their designated sites/service areas. Addresses patient and staff issues in collaboration with operational partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in a BSN program with ability to obtain the BSN degree within one year of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current License as an RN in the State of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • 3+ years of demonstrated clinical experience and skill in relevant nursing area
  • 1+ years of leadership/charge nurse experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience in telephone nursing practice within an ambulatory practice setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in practice specialty or leadership preferred with an expectation to sit for certification within 4 years of hire
  • 3+ years of leadership/charge nurse experience in a clinical setting
  • Management/leadership experience in a nursing collective bargaining environment

Skills

Working knowledge of organizational systems and operations preferred. Must be able to act cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Requires strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must have demonstrated commitment to the principals of collaboration and teamwork.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
