Regional Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Business Development Representatives across multiple partner companies.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop top business development talent.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching, ride-alongs, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution.
Drive Revenue Growth
- Own regional revenue performance and achievement of business development objectives.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company priorities.
- Personally cultivate and manage key regional referral relationships, including major plumbing partners, commercial accounts, and other strategic referral sources.
- Partner with local teams to expand referral networks and increase market share across residential and commercial channels.
Operational Excellence
- Establish standardized business development processes, KPIs, and operating rhythms across the region.
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline health, referral growth, conversion metrics, and overall business performance.
- Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and implement action plans to improve sales effectiveness.
- Partner with Regional Presidents, General Managers, and Business Development Representatives to improve performance in underperforming partner companies.
- Share best practices and scalable sales processes across the region to drive consistency and sustainable growth.
- Ensure accurate reporting and consistent use of sales tracking tools to improve visibility and accountability.
Partner with Regional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Regional Presidents, General Managers, and Operations Leaders to align business development priorities with operational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on business development strategy, sales performance, and commercial opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive business development or sales leadership experience.
- 3+ years leading outside sales or business development teams across multiple locations.
- Demonstrated success building, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Experience growing referral-based businesses within restoration, construction, commercial services, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, or similar industries strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to improve sales performance through coaching, process improvement, and KPI-driven accountability.
- Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into action.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.

Pay
Compensation: Guardian Restoration Partners is committed to providing competitive, equitable compensation. The base salary range for this position is $75,000–$90,000, plus a performance-based commission plan, with target total earnings of $150,000–$180,000. Actual compensation will be based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and overall fit for the role. Compensation ranges are reviewed periodically and may be modified as business needs evolve.
Schedule
This is a remote position supporting partner companies throughout an assigned region. Preferred candidates will be located in or near Chicago, Green Bay, Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh, though other locations within the assigned region may be considered for highly qualified candidates. Regular travel is expected, approximately 50%, including visits to partner company locations and Guardian's Denver headquarters.
