Job Summary
As a Regional Business Development Manager, you'll lead the expansion of AutoZone's market presence by nurturing and expanding relationships with National Account Customers and uncovering new opportunities.

Drive sales growth by building strong relationships with regional management teams, analyzing market strategies, and evaluating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Dive deep into existing National Accounts, maximizing our share of wallet through strategic analysis and financial evaluation.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, leveraging market strategies and financial insights to forge new paths and expand AutoZone's reach.
- Connect with potential partners, explore exciting opportunities, and propose business deals that align with AutoZone's policies and procedures.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of new national account opportunities within Microsoft Dynamics, feeding into the overall business development pipeline.
- Create, document, and manage annual and period sales forecasts, new opportunity pipelines, and sales results to guide strategic decisions.
- Keep target and contact lists up-to-date, build specific opportunity pipelines, and set goals to achieve objectives and quotas for the National Account Team.
- Coordinate requirements, respond to RFPs, develop and negotiate contracts, and integrate contract requirements with business operations to close new opportunities.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and development for all National Accounts, ensuring target attainment and promoting a 1 Team culture.
- Leverage strategic relationships with ALLDATA to drive sales growth in new business partnerships and programs.
- Promote a 1 Team culture by effectively communicating and training across multiple sales, operations, and support channels.
Requirements
- 7 years of business-to-business sales experience, with 5+ years in sales management.
- A strong understanding of financial statements and financial planning.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to create and execute customer development plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in automotive industry is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time within your geographical area of responsibility.

Benefits
Compensation Range: $52,600 - 85,500. Bonus eligible.
