Responsibilities
- Contributes region-specific market information to Parkhill’s Market Scan to help identify growth opportunities
- Facilitates the development of a regional strategy that is in alignment with the Parkhill Strategic Plan and Sector Operational Plans
- Leads and facilitates coordination meetings with Regional Business Development Team (RBDT)
- Captures and coordinates with RBDT and SDs to help with key hires for the region
- Works with the Marketing team to develop and implement a region-specific marketing initiative (sponsorships, org involvement, brand awareness, etc.)
- Serves as primary external representative of Parkhill at major local conferences, organizations, and/or client meetings
- Coordinates community and industry involvement of RBDT and other regional staff
- Leads and/or supports proposal development efforts for strategic pursuits
- Works with RBDT to identify target clients and opportunities in the region
- Helps implement pre-positioning activities with key focus on client-facing actions
- Leads Client Win Plans completed for target clients in region and supports implementation
- Works with RBDT and Sector Directors to make key decisions on Go/No-Go regional opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Experience in business development, marketing, or client engagement within Southeast Texas (Greater Houston area), with experience in Central Texas considered an additional asset
- Previous roles in leadership or management, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and drive business growth
- Familiarity with the Architecture / Civil Engineering industry, including market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscape
- Ability to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and clients
- Strong negotiation abilities to close deals and form strategic partnerships
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders and clients
Pay
This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis with competitive bonus opportunities.
