About the role

The role of a Regional Banker/Teller within PNC's Retail Banking organization involves managing customer interactions to enhance financial wellbeing, increase customer loyalty, and grow customer share of wallet.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer financial wellbeing and create loyalty.
  • Participate in proactive sales and service activities, and identify referral opportunities.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet.
  • Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions using a defined sales process.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
  • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Preferred skills include accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience (CX), customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, and proactive sales.
  • Competencies include banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs.
  • Roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree, but do require related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties.
  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
