Part-time Teller

Responsibilities

• Provides paying and receiving functions for members in person and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and disbursing cash or check share withdrawals.
• Processes cash advances, cashiers' checks, money orders, gift cards, and discount tickets.
• Maintains and balances daily transactions, verifying cash totals and investigating discrepancies.
• Cross-sells Credit Union services actively.
• Serves members promptly and professionally.
• Assists area personnel as required.
• Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
• Attends meetings as required.
• Performs drive-up service and night drop functions as assigned.
• Maintains a clean, secure, and well-maintained work area.
• Performs related clerical duties as required.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures; basic understanding of Credit Union operations.
• Experience Required: At least six months cash handling experience.
• Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills; professional appearance, dress, and attitude; good math skills; ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment; good typing skills.
