About the Role

The primary purpose is to recruit prospective students through management of an assigned market recruitment area. The Regional Admissions Counselor will reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, with occasional travel to the campus for trainings and events as needed. Extensive daytime travel within the assigned territory is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high school visits, career fairs, and community presentations
  • Organize and participate in special events and outreach activities
  • Assist with other recruitment initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus one year of professional experience in a related field, or two years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary training, education, and/or professional experience
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and public presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior full-time or undergraduate work-study experience in a university admissions office
  • Prior experience working remotely
  • Familiarity with the Twin Cities Metro area, specifically high schools and Community Based Organizations
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Slate, or other sales-related software
  • Knowledge of higher education and experience working with prospective college students
