About the role

The Regional Admissions Advisor plays a vital role in guiding prospective students through every stage of the enrollment process, providing personalized support on academic programs, financial aid, and college policies. Serving as a representative of Baker College, the advisor participates in college fairs, high school visits, and community events to promote the institution's programs and values. Based in Muskegon, this role focuses on recruitment efforts in Southwestern Michigan.

The advisor provides comprehensive counseling on educational opportunities, admission procedures, financial aid options, and institutional policies while maintaining regular communication across multiple channels. They leverage institutional technology platforms to manage student records, track applicant progress, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Collaborating with the admissions team, they help develop and execute recruitment strategies, deliver information sessions, and ensure exceptional customer service for prospective students.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 1-3 years of higher education admissions experience (more than 3 years preferred).
• Commitment to Baker College's student-first philosophy.
• Ability to contribute to the overall success of the institution.

Location: Muskegon Heights, MI. This is a full-time, permanent position.
