Regeneration Operator II

Responsibilities

The Regeneration Operator II is responsible for mobile equipment regeneration and facility-wide water management operations. This role involves chemical handling, resin regeneration, wastewater operations, and facility water balancing.

• Operating and monitoring regeneration equipment within proper equipment parameters
• Handling resin unloading and loading processes in trailers and regeneration vessels, and maintaining proper equipment parameters
• Managing the Wastewater process from regeneration activities, maintaining balance of Deionized water for regeneration activities
• Executing plant startup and shutdown procedures
• Entering SAP production orders for mobile equipment and resin regeneration to ensure accurate tracking, resource allocation, and cost control
• Mentoring new hires through demonstrations, clear explanations, and responsive answers
• Conducting standard lab tests to ensure quality control, regularly checking equipment specs, resin quality, and process effectiveness
• Documenting all activities, including checklist completion, performance data, equipment issues, shift logs, shift notes, and wastewater tank discharge
• Maintaining communication with supervisors and team members, providing regular status updates, and participating in team meetings

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, and at least 4 years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment involving material handling. Preferred qualifications include HS Chemistry knowledge, experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, warehouse safety and OSHA regulations, and SAP experience.

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in various weather conditions (indoor/outdoor), perform physical duties such as lifting to 50 pounds, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity, and work in industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities. They will also be able to work night shifts, holidays, and weekends based on business demand.
