Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Box Office:
  • Operating POS system, including handling cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed tickets, passes, and coupons.
  • Up selling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Selling tickets in compliance with MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Responding to phone calls and questions from guests.
• Concession:
  • Operating POS system, managing concession stock inventory, and promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Preparing and cleaning concession-related equipment.
  • Up selling/Suggestive selling.
  • Complying with food safety laws.
  • Abiding by break and meal period laws.
  • Maintaining alcohol certification and training.
• Usher:
  • Tearing tickets, collecting stubs, and directing patrons to their auditoriums.
  • Inspecting backpacks and packages.
  • Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats.
  • Enforcing MPAA rating system.
  • Performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales.
  • Cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, and hallways.
  • Maintaining theatre vending equipment.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier, or progress towards completion.
• Legal age to sell or serve alcohol if applicable.
• Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.
• Good public speaking, listening, and responding skills.
• Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Problem identification, evaluation, and conclusion-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Goal setting, time budgeting, and priority setting skills.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.
